ABOUT US: The Joy of Muzic is an early childhood music and movement program for children 1 month - 6 year olds and their parents.

It is based on the curriculum written by the nationally known music educator, Mrs. Jo Kirk of WeJoySing.

This research-based program is designed for the parent(s) and child(ren) to come together once a week and PLAY!

We will do activities centered around folk songs, nursery rhymes and games. All of this is done with JOY in mind!

As you and your child play together, important skills are being developed! Cognitive, listening, auditory, mathematical and gross motor skills will be nurtured as we have fun singing, dancing and exploring musical instruments.

Kodaly Level One Music Theory class, where we will explore musical concepts while having loads of fun is a delightful way for your child to experience the beginning of music theory! Students will be provided with workbooks as we learn about steady beat, dynamics, tempo, rhythm and MORE! Parents are encouraged to be present to participate in the musical games. Join us as we learn through JOY!!!!

Description of
Online & In-Person Classes
BIRTH-12 MONTHS
The activities we do in class will nuture the bond between the parent and child and stimulate their little brain cells, laying the foundation for their listening and auditory skills.
13-24 MONTHS
High energy interactive & playful instruction which will nurture skills needed as they grow, such as listening, language, motor, social and musical skills. Did I mention independence?!
2-3 YEAR OLDS
The entire class is a story with songs and activities that are woven together to encourage your child’s creativity, listening, cognitive, language, and musical skills.
4-5 YEAR OLDS
Delight as your child’s musical understanding begins to grow with rhythmic and melodic concepts which will lay the ground work for musical literacy. This class is action packed with singing, playing instruments, and movement.
Mrs. Lynnette Kline, Owner
Mrs Lynnette has been an Early Childhood Music and Movement Specialist for 25 years. She holds her degree from Otterbein College and her Level One Kodaly Certification from Nebraska Wesleyan University. She taught all age groups with WeJoySing including Music & Me, a music theory program for school-aged children. "The joy of watching parents and children enjoy music together is what I love most about teaching!"
